I’m the founder, art director, and chief coffee consumer at Designography. With over 20 years of experience under my belt, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with agencies, in-house marketing teams, non-profits, and flying solo as an independent designer. My journey has taken me from print to pixels, from brand launches to animated stories—all fueled by a passion for turning ideas into eye-catching, strategy-driven visuals. Whether it’s a logo or a full-blown campaign, I bring a blend of creative spark, seasoned insight, and just the right amount of design nerdiness to every project.
Why I Design
My Creative Purpose
Creativity isn’t a luxury—it’s essential. In a world flooded with metrics and media buys, true marketing is about sparking curiosity, stirring emotion, and forging genuine human connection. When a message falls flat, the answer isn’t to shout louder—it’s to create smarter. I’ve learned that behind every thriving brand is a bold commitment to imagination. Because when creativity leads, meaningful impact follows.
My relationship with art began early. As a little girl, I believed my drawings could ease my family’s pain. Of course, I know now that art can’t fix everything—but I’ve never outgrown the wish that it could. That belief still fuels my work today. Though I became a graphic designer, the purpose remains the same: to use design as a tool for comfort, clarity, and connection. For me, creativity has always been about people—and solving real problems in ways that feel thoughtful, human, and beautifully intentional.
Behind the work
How I Think, Create, and Grow
I don’t have all the answers—and that’s the beauty of being curious. Every project is a chance to search, discover, and learn. With the person [ you ] and their [ your ] goals in clear focus, a thoughtful solution can be crafted. And in the process, I grow. I often end a project as a different designer than when I started—more informed, more inspired, and more connected to the people I’m designing for.
I believe being a lifelong learner is essential—especially in design, where tools and technology are always evolving. Staying current with industry standards isn’t just a professional goal; it’s something I genuinely strive for. Over the years, I’ve made it a priority to become certified in industry-standard design tools, ensuring I’m equipped to meet the demands of creative work.
